I know an amazing art designer who’s got something up his sleeves. We all know that Quarantine blues can go f*ck themselves but with a little inspiration and all the imagination, Mezcal Hotel’s concept is to have you transported to a virtual resort.
Thank you COVID 19, Aakash P’s vison would’ve never come to light and we’re pairing up to get everything ready for our soft opening. From live DJ sets, guest appearances and (my true fave!) health and wellness events, there’s something for everyone. I know there’s a flair bartender competition that’s lined up so that’s exciting. I’m excited.
I always have a great feeling when I’m around Aakash. When I heard about his idea I was floored.
The page started on Instagram in early March during the midst of everything drastically changing. One day when we reconnected, we had a long talk about self care and wellness. We then decided to be accountablitiy partners and that was that. Aaskash spoke about his affinity for Mezcal and I told him that it’s one of my favorite spirits to make concoctions with. It was funny because when I gave Aakash a tutorial on how to make an Ultima Palabra (Mezcal-Last Word) live on Instagram, I realized how much fun we had.
When I think of a fun, lively atmosphere such as Barrio 47,
Aakash and I can easily bring ourselves back because it was unforgettable. In short, a mix of that feeling with all the other elements such as incredible artwork, music, and meditation sessions we’ll have you check in quite frequently.
‘Cinco de Mayo will be coming up in a couple of weeks and we want to make it a memorable one,’
