Our Roots

 

In the beginning QKB was invented in 2002 by Adrien Lefort for a school project in France. ‘Quixotic’ is a word that refers to the writer Miguel de Cervantes and his legendary fictional character Don Quixote. This word defines a marginal spirit, traveler, wanderlust, dreamer, antihero, romantic... 

In the spirit of De La Mancha, ‘King’ represents Adrien’s cocktail list design where he had chosen an advertisement for Quindto’s  Port brand with a king crowned with bottles.  And ‘Bar’ necessarily stands for his passion, which he performs and refines through exchanges, meetings, research as well as consulting for different kinds of concepts. Adrien’s wife Debbie also shares a strong passion for alchemy and craft bartending as they join forces in the realm of hospitality. Their mission is to go above and beyond in F&B. It’s more than an experience we wish to provide for our prospective clients. The roots of QKB are those of respect for products, originality and a job well done with the pleasant obligation to offer know-how in addition to memorable experiences.

 

Our services 

 

There are multiple services that QKB offers. Whether you want a service at the convenience of your home i.e. cocktail party, graduation party,  baby shower (mocktails) etc. we offer assistance in organizing a celebration or special event. If you want a bar we provide, QKB is there to bring you craft quality drinks and service worthy of a full service cocktail bar. Either you want to learn the craft, or you’re opening a restaurant and you need a guide on setting up your home bar. We even offer “express” cocktail menu creations for your business. QKB is here to offer you guidance, support and professional F&B advice as our goal is to achieving your beverage program needs.
